Why Lady Homesteaders of Alaska?

We came up with the concept of Lady Homesteaders of Alaska through hearing the questions and concerns of our customers. We are often asked about growing and preserving food, food sovereignty in Alaska, and even how we manage to live mostly off of our land. We love sharing and helping others learn and even go beyond what we know and do.

If you’ve been wanting to learn traditional, homestead skills with a community of like-minded women but you aren’t sure where to start, we’ve got a place for you!
